Holiday Collection and Facility Schedules


Thanksgiving 2020 Garbage and Recycle Collection & Site Schedule

Chattanooga, Tenn. (November 20, 2020) - Garbage and Recycle collection scheduled for Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2020, will be collected on Saturday, November 28, 2020. Garbage and Recycle scheduled for collection Friday, November 27, 2020, will run as normal.

The City of Chattanooga Recycling Collection Centers and Refuse Collection Centers will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, November 27, 2020. They will reopen on Saturday, November 28, 2020.

The Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility and the Wood Recycling Center will also be closed on Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, November 27, 2020, and will reopen on Saturday, November 28, 2020.

Additionally, the City Landfill located off Birchwood Pike in Harrison, Tennessee, will be closed Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, November 27, 2020, and will reopen on Monday, November 30, 2020.

Citizens may call 311 for any additional questions.
