12-17-16 Robbery/Shooting 3000 E. 34th St.


 

At 11:55 a.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2016 officers with the Chattanooga Police Department responded to a person shot call at 3000 East 34th St. The following are the preliminary facts of that investigation:

  • Victim is suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the thigh
  • Victim was transported to a local hospital via ambulance
  • Victim says he was approached by two young black males who demanded his wallet and phone
  • Victim says he was shot while attempting to comply with suspects' demands
  • Witnesses on scene and victim are cooperating with investigators
  • Members of the Violent Crimes Bureau are actively investigating all leads in this case

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525. Caller(s) can remain anonymous. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
